If there is one thing we can say about the Fit & Lean 44 program it would be that you have never experienced a workout like this before! 

Fit & Lean 44 is a free-weight based tough circuit training program with some of the most effective and unique exercises you will ever see!

The majority of the Fit & Lean 44 program (90%) is free weight based.  Although most training facilities are completely machine based and claim to be safer and more effective, this couldn't be any further from the truth.  Some of the major problems with a machine only based workout is the fact that your muscle "stabilizers" don't get a chance to work properly.  Our muscles are designed to work as a team, not as individuals.  By working solely on machines, our bodies only get to work in one plane of motion and only get to use a certain group of muscles the exact same way every time.  This type of training leads to muscle imbalances and a greater risk of injury.  Machine based training also uses fewer muscle groups per exercise.  By using fewer muscle groups, you end up doing less work, which means LESS RESULTS!  And lastly, you can't add any variety to machine based workouts.  The machines only work one way!  Working on the same machines week after week becomes very boring!

We can assure you that you will never do the same thing week after week nor will you ever become bored with the Fit and Lean 44 program!
 

 

Here's a great example to help you understand:
Seated Chest Press Machine
Let's look at a typical "chest press" machine that some of you might by familiar with.  This machine only allows you do one exercise, with very little variety.  The machine also has a pre-set range of motion, meaning that no matter how you push it, it can only go one way.  Regardless of how you place your hands or your elbows, the machine will always move "forward" and "back" in the same path every time.  This pre-set motion alleviates the need for your shoulders to "stabilize".  Over time, your chest muscles will continue to get stronger and stronger, but your shoulder stabilizers will continue to go un-trained and become weaker.  This weakness can lead to an increased risk of injury, and decreased support of the shoulder structure.  Also, because the machine's range of motion is pre-set, you can't work your chest at different angles.  Week after week, your chest will become accustomed to this exercise, and your results will start to diminish!  Not to mention that doing the same chest exercise week after week can become extremely boring!
